Nominations are invited for the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards 2025. The story of Canada is the story of immigrants coming to the land for freedom, opportunity and success. And the contributions that immigrants have made to building the country are undeniable. Canadian Immigrant, with the support of presenting sponsor Western Union, is pleased to open the call for nominations for the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards of 2025.
Now in its 17th year, the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards, also supported by COSTI Immigrant Services, is the first and only national awards program celebrating immigrant success stories from coast to coast. Spotlighting immigrants who contribute to Canada’s economy, innovation, arts and communities, is an important way of bringing communities together.

Benefits
- There is no monetary award provided. The winners will be recognized with a commemorative certificate at the Top 25 Canadian Immigrants ceremony (should they safely be able to do so). Winners will be featured on canadianimmigrant.ca and in an upcoming issue of Canadian Immigrant magazine. Winners may also be interviewed by other media outlets.
Eligibility
- Nominees must be 15 years or older;
- Must hold permanent resident or Canadian citizenship status;
- Must reside in Canada;
- Nominees must be immigrants to Canada (permanent residents or citizens) who have made a positive difference in the country. Whether through professional achievements, community leadership, or personal endeavors, their stories should inspire and uplift.
