Applications are open for the Groundswell Annual Grant 2025. Groundswell’s goal is to increase the capacity of organizations struggling for social change that challenges the dominant, oppressive structures of the political, social, and economic systems. Grants will be directed towards member-driven, grassroots initiatives or organizations that face difficulty raising funds due to the nature of their work.
This year they particularly want to encourage groups doing Palestinian solidarity and liberation organizing to apply. Grants will go to projects and organizations with a vision of transforming society by fighting systemic injustices.
Grant
- Grants are up to $10,000.
Eligibility
Canadian organizations and non-profits are eligible to apply. However, they do not typically fund:
- Legal defense costs
- Organizations funded by settler government agencies
- Extractive industries or energy corporations
- Banks
- Individual applicants

- If you received money from Groundswell last year, fill in the report form before applying again.
