Applications are open for the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) Internship Program 2025. The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean offers opportunities to gain experience within an international organisation, which will ultimately enhance your personal and professional growth. The UfM Secretariat offers several opportunities for young graduate and postgraduate students or recently graduated candidates.
The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) is an intergovernmental Euro-Mediterranean organization which brings together all 27 countries of the European Union and 16 countries of the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean. It aims at increasing the potential for regional integration and cohesion among Euro-Mediterranean countries
For the first semester of 2025, the internship vacancies offered are:
- Energy & Climate Action (ECA)
- Water, Environment and Blue Economy (WEBE)
- Directorate for Operations and Partnerships (DOP)
- Legal and Administration
Remuneration
- Interns receive a monthly allowance of €550.
- Interns who were not residing in Barcelona area prior to the start of the internship will be eligible for an additional housing allowance (€550).
Eligibility
- Applicant should be under 30 years of age.
- Be a national of any UfM Members States.
- Students enrolled in a degree or post-secondary education programme at the time of application and during the internship, having completed at least one year of full-time studies.
- Good command of English, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of French, Spanish and/or Arabic is an asset.
