BeChangeMaker is an annual online training programme providing tools and technology for startup acceleration, dedicated coaching, mentoring and customized support, as well as the opportunity to tap into a diverse global network of potential supporters and investors. About the Programme
BeChangeMaker, an initiative by WorldSkills and the HP Foundation, supported by UNESCO-UNEVOC, enables skilled young people to develop innovative business ideas that address social and environmental challenges. The programme welcomes UNIDO, PEN Worldwide, and the Yunus Environment Hub as new partners this year. Now in its ninth edition, BeChangeMaker has empowered hundreds of young people from around the world to promote community development and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Benefits
- Taking place from June to October, the 30 selected teams will gain access to HP LIFE’s high-quality learning resources, designed specifically for entrepreneurs, business owners, students, and lifelong learners worldwide.
- Through dedicated coaching, mentoring, and access to a global network of potential supporters and investors, participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to make a real difference.
- As the course progresses, the top five teams will be selected on the basis of two online pitches.
- The finalists will then showcase their ideas live at WorldSkills General Assembly 2025 in Croatia to a global audience for the opportunity to win cash prizes.
Eligibility
- To apply, you can join alone or with a maximum of four other participants as a team.
- You will need to find people who share your vision. Teams should be of 2 to 5 people, between 18 and 35 years old.
- Be receiving general or vocational education and training or have finished general or vocational education and training at the time of participation.
- If your business idea can solve global issues, join BeChangeMaker 2024 and make the world a better place.
Application
If you are between 18 and 35 years old and have a passion for solving social and environmental challenges through entrepreneurship, apply now and take your first step toward becoming a changemaker!
- Put together a team of up to five people and select a team leader, or join alone.
- Create a one-minute video introducing your team and project. You can create the video using your smart phone, upload it to Youtube as unlisted Video submit the video link to this field, so we can access it. Applications without a video will not be considered.
- Fill in the form on the BeChangeMaker2025 website and submit your application.
