Applications are open for the Google Conference Scholarships – Asia Pacific 2025. At Google, they believe a diversity of attributes, experiences, and perspectives are needed to build tools that can change the world. They also believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to pursue connections in the industry, networking with peers, and a career path in technology.
To help break down the barriers that prevent underrepresented groups in technology and business from attending leading conferences, they are excited to offer Google Conference Scholarships for selected conferences in the tech industry and related fields.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a travel grant to attend an international Computer Science research conference, applicants must:
- Be a full-time student who is enrolled with a recognized university in the country/region where travel grants are available as below and is in need of conference travel funds.
- Have a paper accepted for full publication at a top-tier computer science conference. They prefer to support conferences in research areas where Google has a strong interest. Workshop papers will not be approved for travel grants.
- The paper is also accepted for oral or poster presentation in the main conference program (oral preferred). As an indicator, they have recently approved travel scholarships for CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML, CHI, AAAI, STOC, PLDI, COLT, KDD, ICCV, EMNLP, WWW, ACL and FSE.
- Be the primary author of the accepted paper.
- Remain enrolled full-time students when receiving travel grants.
- Students that are already supported by industry travel grants (even partly) are not eligible.
Application
Choose and complete the application form for your country/region (in alphabetical order) at least one month before the conference date. They encourage historically marginalized groups to apply for this program as they believe everyone deserves an opportunity to pursue connections in the industry, networking with peers, and a career path in technology.
