Deadline: September 15, 2025

Applications are open for the GCC/CDF Global Changemaker Fellowship 2025. Launched as a collaborative initiative between the Global Changemaker Collective (GCC) and Connecting Dreams Foundation (CDF), the Global Changemaker Fellowship is a six-month virtual leadership accelerator designed to cultivate a strong pipeline of emerging social change leaders who are actively transforming their local communities.

This immersive program empowers fellows with the skills, tools, mentorship, and global network needed to amplify the impact of their grassroots initiatives. Throughout the fellowship, participants engage in a curated series of interactive workshops, leadership training, peer learning, and one-on-one mentorship, all while continuing to lead and scale their existing community-based projects. The program is built to enhance each changemaker’s ability to collaborate, adapt, and grow their initiative in a sustainable and impactful way.

Focus Areas

  • Systems Thinking: Approaching complex challenges by understanding the interconnections within systems and designing solutions that serve all stakeholders holistically.
  • Thought Leadership: Equipping changemakers to clearly articulate vision, navigate across diverse perspectives, and mobilize communities toward collective action.
  • Empathetic Leadership: Develop the capacity to lead with compassion while balancing interdependent forces like tradition and innovation, stability and change.
  • Adaptive & Collaborative Leadership: Fostering the mindset and skills to lead with flexibility, co-create solutions, and embrace the iterative nature of social transformation through inclusive collaboration.

    Benefits

    • Workshops & Immersive Training: Fellows engage in hands-on workshops led by global practitioners, gaining actionable skills and knowledge directly aligned with their community-driven initiatives.
    • Personalized Mentorship & Strategic Consultations: Each fellow is matched with experienced mentors who offer tailored guidance, critical feedback, and ongoing support to strengthen and scale their projects.
    • Global Peer Network & Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Fellows join a diverse community of changemakers from around the world—building meaningful relationships, exchanging ideas, and sparking collaborative impact across regions and sectors.
    • Access to Global Tools & Knowledge Resources: Participants are equipped with cutting-edge frameworks, toolkits, and resources to help them navigate local challenges and implement scalable, sustainable solutions.
    • Systems Thinking for Holistic Impact: Fellows learn to analyze problems through a systems lens developing solutions that account for root causes, interdependencies, and long-term impact.
    • Transformational Leadership Development: The program cultivates the leadership capacity of fellows to think boldly, communicate effectively across differences, and inspire collective action within their communities.
    • Adaptive & Collaborative Changemaking: The fellowship emphasizes flexibility, co-creation, and resilience helping fellows lead change through inclusive partnerships and adaptive action.

    Eligibility

    • Demonstrated passion and commitment to addressing challenges in local communities through sustainable initiatives.
    • Evidence of leadership skills and the potential to inspire and mobilize others.
    • Willingness and ability to commit to a six-month virtual program, which includes participating in workshops, mentorship sessions, and other activities.
