Les Mesnographies Call for Photos 2026

Deadline: October 15, 2025

Les Mesnographies is calling for photos! For its 6th edition, Les Mesnographies invites artists to propose a photo series around one of the deepest taboos: incest. Through photography, they want to create a space where images replace silence, where art becomes voice.

This theme requires sensitivity, respect and strength. They look for works that reveal, question or soothe without falling into sensationalism. There are many approaches. The aim of this Focus is to raise awareness among the public through the artistic photographic image.

As every year, the theme of the Focus will give rise to a “round table” evening with readings, testimonies and discussions. They understand that this topic may be disturbing, but they wish to create a space where such a topic can be seen and discussed with the artists who have submitted their work and wish that the silence around this topic ends.

Benefits

  • 1 month and a half of exhibition in the Parc des Mesnuls, from June 06, 2026 to July 19, 2026.
  • Remuneration of 300 euros in royalties.
  • The festival takes care of the production of all prints (Prints on tarpaulins).
  • During the opening weekend, you will be welcomed by locals in the village and taken care of for 3 days.

The photographer is still responsible for his travel expenses for the opening weekend.

Eligibility

  • Open to photographers whose work focuses on the theme: incest.
  • Applicants may be from anywhere in the world.

Application

You have until October 15, 2025 to send a PDF with: 20 images maximum, the explanatory text of the series and a biography to [email protected]. Important: Do not send a wetransfer! In the construction of your series, take into consideration that it is an open-air festival in a park accessible to all audiences, including children.
