This cohort’s theme is Extreme Heat in Humanitarian and Emergency Settings, one of the most urgent and rapidly intensifying challenges driven by climate change.
Extreme heat is now a major driver of humanitarian crises and a critical challenge to effective emergency response. Rising temperatures can trigger droughts, food insecurity, and displacement, while also worsening health, water, shelter, and energy conditions for millions of people.
They are seeking social enterprises with innovative, scalable solutions that address both the root causes and direct impacts of extreme heat, particularly in Global South contexts.
