Applications for the Accelerate Her Future Fellowship 2026 are now open. AHF’s Fellowship Circle is a highly curated and tailored 10-week program, designed by and for Indigenous, Black and racialized women in Canada launching their careers in business and STEM. The program focuses on developing social capital and career readiness skills.

Successful Fellows will take part in a highly curated program providing small group mentorship, networking and career readiness labs. You will build authentic relationships with peers, gain mentorship from industry leaders, and take part in engaging career readiness sessions with seasoned facilitators.

Program Elements

  • Immerse in Career Readiness Bootcamp: A weekend interactive virtual bootcamp. Hear from dynamic speakers and facilitators on how to stand out in the interview process, participate in small coaching circles and speed networking to boost your interview skills.
  • Hone Your Career Advocacy Skills: Participate in four engaging Career Learning Labs covering topics tailored to each cohort’s needs. Past topics have included overcoming imposter syndrome, building your brand through storytelling, designing a career to love, networking unfiltered, among others.
  • Engage in Candid Career Conversation: Participate in small Mentorship Circles of 1-2 Mentors and other peers. Meet peers and industry leaders in your Mentorship Circles four times over the course of the program for candid career conversations in a safe space to share.
  • Make Space for Self-care: Take part in facilitated wellness sessions throughout the program to cultivate tools tailored to the experiences of Indigenous, Black, and racialized women.
  • Get Exclusive Access to AHF Events: Receive advance invitations and discounts to AHF events for the year and access to our private Slack community.

Eligibility

  • Self-identify as a Indigenous woman (i.e. First Nations, Inuit, Métis), Black woman, or racialized woman (i.e. Arab, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Latin American, South Asian, South East Asian, West Asian, East Asian, etc.) 
  • Reside in Canada
  • Are 18+ years of age, currently a domestic or international student, or recent graduate from a designated post-secondary institution (graduated within 2 years of applying)
  • Pursuing a career in business or STEM
  • Committed to successfully completing Fellowship Circle requirements which includes a weekend Career Readiness Bootcamp in January, weekly supplementary activities, and 10-weekly Thursday sessions, January 22 – March 26, 2026, 7:00 – 9:00 pm ET.

Application

The application includes a combination of basic demographic and applicant profile questions as well as open-ended questions. You will also attach a 2-page PDF copy of your resume.
