Deadline: November 21, 2025

Applications are open for the Ilorin Innovation Hub Accelerator Program 2025. The Ilorin Innovation Hub Accelerator, powered by IHS Towers, is a new programme created to support high-potential African startups building the hardware, software and infrastructure that will shape the continent’s digital and industrial future.

The programme offers ₦10 million in funding, hands-on technical support, business advisory and access to a wide network of industry partners. It is open to founders working in areas such as AI, IoT, machine learning, energy, logistics, HR tech, cybersecurity, connectivity and innovative hardware systems.

Africa’s digital economy is growing rapidly, yet many of the foundational value chains such as energy supply, hardware production, connectivity, technical talent and community infrastructure remain fragmented and underdeveloped. This Accelerator is designed to support startups solving these core challenges and creating globally competitive solutions rooted in African realities. Selected founders will take part in a structured programme that includes a launch weekend, focused mentorship, pilot opportunities and a final Demo Day for showcasing their solutions to investors and partners.

Prizes

  • ₦10 million in funding for selected startups.
  • Hands-on technical support for building and scaling both hardware and software solutions.
  • Business and product advisory from experts and industry partners.
  • Access to pilot opportunities across real operational environments.
  • Mentorship from experienced founders and operators across Africa’s tech and infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Visibility and investment exposure through Demo Weekend and Demo Day.
  • Access to a wide partner network including investors, corporates and innovation leaders.
  • Workspace, community support and resources through the Ilorin Innovation Hub.

Eligibility

  • Open to startups and founders operating in Africa, with solutions relevant to the continent’s digital, industrial or infrastructure economy.
  • Teams building in AI, IoT, machine learning, cybersecurity, energy, logistics, HR tech, community engagement, infrastructure SaaS or hardware systems.
  • Startups working on hardware or hardware-software integrated solutions, including tools, batteries, sensors, connectivity devices and monitoring systems.
  • Founders developing AI + IoT infrastructure that can be deployed or piloted at scale.
  • Fintechs offering asset-financing models for hardware solutions.
  • Circular economy innovators repurposing electronic waste into usable products.
  • Workforce development platforms training technicians and technical talent.
  • Applicants must be committed to participating in all programme activities, including Launch Weekend, mentorship sessions, pilot stages and Demo Day.
  • Teams should demonstrate technical capability, viability of solution, scalability potential and strong alignment with Africa’s infrastructure needs.
