V Dolors Alberola Poetry Prize 2026

Applications are open for the V Dolors Alberola Poetry Prize 2026. The V Dolors Alberola Poetry Prize is an international competition for unpublished poetry collections hosted by Editorial DALYA. The prize aims to promote poetry reading from around the world. The spirit of this competition is the participation of writers in terms of equality, regardless of nationality, gender or language.

Prizes

Winner:

  • Translation into another European language.
  • Publication of the collection (bilingual edition).
  • 50 copies of the book.
  • Royalties on the publisher’s edition and subsidiary rights.

Finalists:

  • Publication of the collection (Spanish edition).
  • 10 copies of the book.
  • Royalties on the publisher’s edition and subsidiary rights.

Eligibility

  • Open to all writers worldwide;
  • The full-length manuscript or collection of poems can be written in any official language of the world.
  • Only one work per writer may be submitted. Translation of another author’s work is not eligible.
  • Poems may be on any subject and in any form or style. Manuscripts must be typed and consist of 500 to 800 verses or lines.
  • The collection of poems must not have been published in any form or awarded previously.

Application

  • The document must contain a front page stating:
    • The title of the collection.
    • The name of the author or pseudonym.
  • The author will receive an email acknowledging receipt of the entry.
