Applications are open for the Generation Leadership Academy – Cohort 5. The GLA is a two-week intensive Youth Leadership Mentoring program designed to equip young people with skills, knowledge, and experience they need to become effective leaders in their community and build their confidence for meaningful participation in decision-making processes.
Citizen Voice and Actions (CVA) is a Youth-Led Non-Governmental Organization established in 2016 with a mission to empower the citizens to become active members of an inclusive Society in Rwanda and beyond. It envisions A society where citizens are fully engaged in Human Sustainable Development. CVA employs various strategies to reach out to Girls and Youth and amplify their voices and actions through awareness raising, empowerment, mentorship, and advocacy for meaningful participation in all decision-making spaces at all levels.
Eligibility
- Applicants interested in Generation Leadership Academy must be Rwandan Youth aged between 18 – 26, Passionate about Leadership, Youth Engagement, and Good Governance.
- Youths affiliated with civil society organizations and Youth Structures are especially encouraged to apply.
- Must be willing and able to spend a weeklong camped and attending the Generation Leadership Academy.
- Must at least, Be a university student, have A1 or bachelor’s degree.
