Changemakers for Equality – Asia 2026

Deadline: March 29, 2026

Applications are open for the Changemakers for Equality 2026. Through Changemakers for Equality, they identify, connect, and support changemakers who pioneer tangible, community-centered solutions that address the structural drivers of inequality and advance equality in their communities. Participants gain access to a global community, tailored capacity building, and seed funding to enable cross-border collaboration.

Equality is one of the defining challenges of our time. Inequality is intersectional and shaped by overlapping systems that influence who can access quality education and skills, decent work and income, safety and health, as well as meaningful participation in society, among others. Wealth inequality is a central part of this, not only in terms of money and assets, but also in terms of who has social capital, networks, and decision making power. Through this programme they back young changemakers who address the structural drivers of inequality and advance practical solutions that expand access and opportunity, build collaboration across the wealth spectrum, and create pathways to social mobility and shared prosperity.

Benefits

  • Participants receive customised, needs-based support to build their capacity via an on- and offline capacity building programme.
  • An immersive 5-day, in-person summit awaits all participants.
  • They provide seed funding to support cross-border co-creation or co-learning initiatives, which emphasise youth agency and directly mobilise their peers, using an approach of ‘particpatory budgeting.’
  • Through the programme we will also connect participants to a wider ecosystem of partners, experts, supporters, events, gatherings and collaborators, within and beyond ChangemakerXchanges’s, as well as Julius Baer Foundation’s networks.
  • Beyond the programme, participants will also be invited to join the global ChangemakerXchange community, which includes life-long access to resources and regular opportunities to connect, learn and co-create with social innovators across the world.

Eligibility

  • They invite applications from changemakers and social entrepreneurs using bottom-up approaches to tackle inequality across areas such as education, livelihoods, health and wellbeing, safety, climate resilience, disability inclusion, gender equality, and civic participation.
  • They especially welcome eligible initiatives that bring together individuals, groups, and organisations across the wealth spectrum to collaborate, exchange knowledge and connections, and create equal opportunities for all.

Application

Application deadline is March 29, 2026. To help you prepare, here’s a document with all the questions. You can view it anytime while completing the online form.
