World Water Day 2026 Youth Innovation Campaign – “Map the Problem, Design the Solution”

Applications are open for the World Water Day 2026 Youth Innovation Campaign – “Map the Problem, Design the Solution”. STEMi Makers Africa invites young people worldwide to join a global innovation campaign for World Water Day 2026. University students will document real water challenges in their communities, while primary and secondary pupils will design practical, engineering‑minded solutions. The initiative strengthens youth innovation, environmental responsibility, and global action toward SDG 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation).

Benefits

  • Free participation
  • Cash prizes: $200 (1st), $150 (2nd), $100 (3rd) per category
  • Digital certificates
  • Features on STEMi Makers Africa platforms
  • Access to mentorship and the STEMi Innovation Network

Eligibility

  • African Continent and MENA nations participation is allowed
  • University Category: Undergraduate students (any field)
  • Pupil Category: Primary & secondary school pupils (with parental consent)
