Deadline: Unspecified

Applications are open for the Olam Agri Africa Finance Program 2026. The Africa Finance Program is a structured learning journey designed to build a strong finance talent pipeline across Africa and accelerate the readiness of finance professionals through cohort onboarding, rotations, finance exposure, and a final job stint.

Northeastern University Global Study Expo 2026

This program is designed for high-potential finance professionals who are ready for a structured, pan-African learning journey. They are looking for candidates who want to accelerate their development through real business exposure and strong finance foundations—individuals with drive, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.

Benefits

  • 12-Month Fast-Track Development: A structured pathway combining onboarding, exposure, finance immersion, and job stint—ending with project presentation and graduation.
  • Pan-African Exposure & Network: Learn alongside a cohort, build a strong internal network, and gain cross-country perspective across diverse markets.
  • Real Business Exposure: Gain practical exposure to business realities and operating contexts, connecting finance decisions to ground operations.
  • Strong Finance Foundations: Build capability across reporting, treasury, compliance, risk management, FP&A, and commercial finance domains.
  • Career Acceleration: Accelerate readiness for operational finance roles with mobility, development, and deployment opportunities across Africa.

Eligibility

  • Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Finance (or equivalent)
  • Certification: ACCA / FMVA / CFA / DFCE / ICAN or equivalent
  • Experience: Around 3–5 years in a finance-related role
  • Language: English mandatory; an additional local language may be required depending on the country (e.g., French/Portuguese).
  • Mobility: Willing to work across Africa, including remote locations

They look for the following skills:

  • Core finance exposure (accounting, finance, audit)
  • Comfort working in diverse and remote environments
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, Excel
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ownership mindset: proactive and action-oriented
