QUB AHSS Global Fellows Scheme 2026-2027 (up to £4,000)

Applications are open for the QUB AHSS Global Fellows Scheme 2026-2027. The AHSS Global Fellowship scheme supports leading scholars from any country outside the UK and Ireland to spend a period of time conducting research in one of the Faculty’s four Schools.

The AHSS Global Fellowship will cover visits for a period of between 4 to 12 weeks. Applications are now open for a visit in the Autumn or Spring Semesters of the 2026-27 academic year. Applicants must have secured the agreement of sponsorship from the host School and will be expected to deliver a lecture/seminar/workshop during their stay.

Benefits

  • Fellows will be granted a courtesy desk in the host School and access to library resources. In addition, the scheme covers travel and accommodation costs for successful applicants of up to £4,000.

Eligibility

  • Open to academics at any career stage and in any discipline aligned with a host School, and complements schemes offered by the Research Centres and Institutes.
  • They can be from any country outside the UK and Ireland.

Application

Applicants should complete an Expression of interest after securing a host sponsor School. The deadline for applications for visits in the Autumn semester of 2026-27 academic year is Friday 26th June 2026.
