Deadline: May 22, 2026

Applications are open for the Digital Skills for Youth Program 2026. The Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) program will invest $11.9 million annually over two years, from 2026–27 to 2027–28, to support organizations that can help underemployed post-secondary graduates gain work experience that builds their digital skills.

Through this call for proposals, the government is looking for organizations with a strong network of employers that can provide post-secondary graduates with training and work experience to help them prepare for the jobs of tomorrow. To reduce barriers, post-secondary education is not required for participants who live in Yukon, Northwest Territories or Nunavut.

Eligibility

Open to:

  • Not-for-profit organizations, including voluntary organizations and foundations
  • Municipal governments
  • Indigenous organizations, including band councils, tribal councils, and self-government entities
  • For-profit organizations
  • Public health, educational and cultural institutions
  • Provincial and territorial governments, institutions, agencies, and Crown corporations

For-profit organizations are eligible if the activity is non-commercial, not intended to generate profit, and supports program priorities and objectives.

Application

Applications will be accepted until May 22, 2026, at 12 p.m. PST.

Download the application form and submit to: digitalskillsforyouth-competencesnumeriquespourlesjeunes@ised-isde.gc.ca.
