Deadline: June 6, 2026

Applications are open for the AIGC for Future Global Challenge 2026. The AIGC for Future Global Challenge 2026 is an international initiative designed to empower creators, innovators, and interdisciplinary teams to explore how artificial intelligence—particularly AI-generated content (AIGC)—can contribute to a more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable future.

Developed under the broader AI for Future framework, the Challenge is co-hosted by the Global SDGs and Leadership Development Center (GSLDC), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and the Global Alliance of Cities for the Digital Economy (DEC40). The competition will take place in July 2026 across Beijing, China and Geneva, Switzerland, bringing together global participants at the intersection of technology, creativity, and sustainable development.

Participants may submit works in image, video, or audio formats using AIGC tools, aligned with key themes such as Digital Culture, Digital Consumption, Women Empowerment, and Green Development. Through these tracks, the Challenge encourages participants to connect creative experimentation with real-world impact, contributing to the ambitions of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Selected and winning entries will receive awards, international exposure, and opportunities for exhibition, exchange, and potential transformation into broader public or commercial applications. Finalists may also take part in international visits, including exchanges linked to global platforms such as the Global Digital Economy Conference and the ITU AI for Good Global Summit.
