Deadline: July 31, 2026

Applications are open for the Art on Climate International Illustration Competition 2026. The “Art on Climate” International Illustration Competition is a collaborative initiative organised by Fingertips Company Limited and sponsored by Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI). Their mission is to transform complex climate strategies into powerful visual stories.

By inviting illustrators and video creators to explore the theme of climate change, they provide a global stage for innovative ideas and real-world solutions. Through this creative lens, they aim to inspire people to move beyond awareness and take meaningful action in their own lives.

Competition Theme: Climate Change

Participants are invited to submit original works on the theme of “climate change”. Participants should draw inspiration from one or more of the following topics as a starting point of their artworks:

  • Driving the Climate Transition for Resilient Communities: Climate change is no longer a distant risk but a call for an active global transition. To ensure long-term stability, we must move beyond merely identifying threats toward financing and implementing solutions that build resilient communities. This topic explores how we can navigate the “moment of truth” by turning climate challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth and community strength.
  • Respecting Planetary Boundaries to Protect Biodiversity: To maintain a stable environment, we must operate within the Earth’s environmental limits. This topic focuses on protecting our natural capital and reversing biodiversity loss. By respecting these planetary boundaries, we can ensure that our transition to a low-carbon economy does not come at the expense of our vital ecosystems, fostering a future where nature and humanity thrive in balance.
  • Fostering Inclusive Capitalism for a Just Transition: To deliver enduring value, sustainability must be inclusive, ensuring that decarbonisation efforts do not come at the expense of social stability. Inclusive capitalism seeks to balance financial returns with a “Just Transition” – ensuring that the move toward a green economy creates fair opportunities and social value for everyone. This topic invites creators to visualise a world where sustainable investing supports a society that is both environmentally sound and socially equitable.
