  • Contribute to the production of reports, briefs, and presentations.
  • Support the calculation, development and thematic analysis of the IIAG.
  • Identify potential new data sources and governance indicators.
  • Monitor relevant media, reports, and events.
  • Help connect research with MIF’s advocacy priorities.
  • Assist with dissemination efforts and represent the Foundation at events.
  • Provide editing, fact-checking, and logistical support as needed (including for the biennial Ibrahim Governance Weekend).

Eligibility

  • Applicant should possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-4 years research or analysis experience (internships count).

  • Experience with data analysis, management, and visualisation.
  • Proven ability to write, edit and present research findings clearly.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office. Familiarity with processing large datasets.
  • Strong numerical skills; able to interpret and communicate data effectively.
  • Fluency in French, Arabic or Portuguese is desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Eager to learn, with a collaborative attitude.
  • Knowledge of statistical software such as Python, R, or Tableau is an asset.
  • Professional and diplomatic in multicultural settings.
