Girls On Campus She Leads Scholarship 2026 (up to $1,500)

Applications are open for the Girls On Campus She Leads Scholarship 2026. This scholarship aims to support an incoming or current undergraduate woman who demonstrates academic merit and financial need. Beyond academic achievement, they seek to recognize a student who is passionate about making a positive impact in her community and committed to personal growth, leadership, and continuous improvement.

Since the founding, Girls On Campus has remained committed to supporting women and those who are allies in advancing gender equity, education, and opportunity. What began in a college dorm room as a small idea has grown into a larger community dedicated to helping students access the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Scholarship

  • The scholarship amount is $1,500. $1,000 will be send to your school (Fall 2027) and $500 to you

Eligibility

  • Be a high school senior planning to enroll in an undergraduate program, or a current undergraduate student.
  • Be enrolled in, accepted to, or planning to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Applicants of any citizenship or immigration status may apply, including U.S. citizens, permanent residents, international students, DACA recipients, and undocumented students.
  • Self-identify as a woman, be gender nonconforming, or be an ally who supports women and gender equity.
  • Demonstrate academic effort, financial need, community impact, leadership potential, or a commitment to personal growth.

Application

Essay Prompt:

In a minimum of 250 words and a Max of 500 words, discuss the significant challenges faced by women of color pursuing higher education and outline your plans to address and overcome these challenges ( this will show any leadership qualities/merit)
