Applications are open for the VFD Future Leaders Graduate Trainee Programme 2026. VFD Future Leaders is where ambitious graduates become the next generation of financial architects. If you’re ready to think bigger, move faster, and build something that lasts, this is your launchpad.

Over 18 months, you’ll gain hands-on experience across one of the strategic career tracks, work on real business challenges, receive executive mentorship, and contribute to businesses that are shaping the future of financial services and investment across Africa.

Eligibility

You should apply if you:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent.
  • Have completed NYSC.
  • Have no more than two years of post-graduate work experience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement or leadership potential.
  • Are passionate about solving business problems.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • Are driven by impact, ownership and continuous improvement.
