Applications are open for the DAAD Young Ambassadors 2027. Did you love your study experience in Germany? Would you like to share your experience with others? – Then become a DAAD Young Ambassador!
DAAD Young Ambassadors are people who have studied or carried out research (or are studying/carrying out research) at a university or research centre in Germany and are interested in promoting Germany as a destination for higher learning by sharing their experience of education or research in Germany with fellow students. They help inspire their fellows to study or research in Germany by answering questions, and by organizing events on and off campus. DAAD Young Ambassadors are appointed by the DAAD Regional Office New Delhi for a duration of one year and work on an honorary basis.
Eligibility
You can apply if you:
- Are a national of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal or Sri Lanka;
- Have studied or are currently studying/researching in Germany;
- Are below 32 years of age as on 1 January 2027;
- Are enthusiastic about promoting Germany via presentations or events;
- Are willing and able to attend the Young Ambassadors Training Workshop which will take place online in November 2026.

The application deadline is 30 September 2026. Late applications will not be considered.
