Applications for the FAWE Mastercard Foundation Bursary Programme 2026-2027 are now open. The Forum for African Women Educationalists Ghana Chapter (FAWE Ghana), under the FAWE/Mastercard Foundation Phase II Programme, is accepting applications for the third cohort of the Bursary Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year. The bursary supports study at the partner TVET institutions in STEM-related programmes for a 3-year Higher National Diploma (HND) or a 2-year Diploma.
Benefits
- A total of 200 fully funded bursaries are available for brilliant yet marginalized young people – 80% reserved for female applicants and 20% for male applicants, with 5-15% allocated to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and those with refugee status or who are internally displaced (IDPs).
Eligibility
- Applicants must have completed WASSCE or Certificate II, qualify for tertiary education, and demonstrate financial need.
- Aged 15-25 years at the time of application.
- Programme Regions: all sixteen regions of Ghana.
- Must have already gained admission into one of FAWE Ghana’s eleven partner institutions: Accra Technical University, Bolgatanga Technical University, Cape Coast Technical University, Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University, Ho Technical University, Koforidua Technical University, Kumasi Technical University, Sunyani Technical University, Takoradi Technical University, Tamale Technical University, or the University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (USTED).
