Deadline: October 4, 2026

Applications are open for the Brooke Owens Fellowship – Class of 2027. The Brooke Owens Fellowship was established to help address a historic gender imbalance in the aerospace field. The organization provides programming and mentoring designed to serve as an inspiration and career boost for exceptional undergraduates who, like Brooke, aspire to advance the aerospace industry through service.

Their goal is to provide opportunities and access to talented female and gender minority students from all backgrounds who have been previously underrepresented in the aerospace industry. Fellows join a lasting community of peers, mentors, and industry leaders, and receive opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and meaningful industry experience.

Benefits

  • Selected Fellows receive one-on-one Executive Mentorship, guidance from a Brookie Alumni Mentor, access to exclusive career development resources, and the opportunity to attend the annual Brooke Owens Summit. The program also includes professional development programming and a supportive cohort experience throughout the summer.

Eligibility

  • You are an undergraduate student who has completed at least one year of coursework toward a bachelor’s or associate degree.
  • You are interested in pursuing a career in the aerospace industry (engineering and non-engineering fields welcome!).
  • You identify as a woman or gender minority.
  • You are 18 years of age or older.

Application

The application includes several components intended to give you different opportunities to show who you are and what you might contribute to the Fellowship community and to the broader aerospace industry.
