Deadline: September 21, 2026
Applications are open for the 50 Percent Storytelling Fellowship 2026. This is an online, free, 10-week fellowship designed to develop communication, storytelling and advocacy skills among young people. Through guided discussions, mentorship and peer engagement, participants learn how to use their voices and craft impactful narratives.
Over 10 weeks, fellows move through four phases:
- Foundations: Building trust within the cohort through dialogue practice, active listening and an introduction to systems awareness.
- Narrative and identity: Exploring personal narrative, reframing “othering” into belonging and developing the language and assumptions that shape a story.
- Storytelling craft: Producing a short video, a blog post and a social media carousel, with training in mobile filming, editing and social strategy, delivered by the Club of Rome’s communications team.
- Peer teaching and public impact: Delivering a peer-led mini-lesson to the cohort, then applying everything learnt to two final stories.
