Deadline: October 16, 2026

Applications are invited for the Global Women Connect Mentoring Programme 2026/2027. Part of Global Women Connect, the Global Women Connect Mentoring Programme is a 9 to 12 month journey supporting both mentors and mentees to develop two-way learning relationships, where both partners benefit and grow. Priority is given to those in the Global South.

The programme builds trusted collaborative relationships that help drive change at the individual, organisational and environmental level. Each relationship is mentee-led, with the mentee setting their own agenda and identifying the issues they wish to explore. The mentor creates a supportive, reflective space to help the mentee think through challenges and opportunities.

Delivered fully online, the programme offers flexibility and accessibility across time zones. It is free to take part, with mentoring conversations every 4-6 weeks, plus supporting webinars.

Benefits

Mentees

  • Develop your leadership capability
  • Build your resilience
  • Unlock your potential
  • Improve performance.

Mentors

  • Develop mentoring and coaching skills
  • Expand reflective capability
  • Develop problem solving
  • Improve decision making skills
  • Grow emotional intelligence

Eligibility

Mentees

  • Leaders or future leaders in the humanitarian, development or social-impact sectors.
  • Priority given to leaders based in the Global South, including those in resource-poor or crisis-affected settings.

Mentors

  • Experienced women leaders or managers in the humanitarian, development or social-impact sectors with an interest in mentoring.
  • Bi-lingual in English, French, Arabic or Spanish is helpful, but not necessary.
  • Ongoing development through the Learning and Exchange community.

Application

Your thoughtful answers will help the orgranisers best match the most appropriate mentees and mentors. Try to answer in your own words (in your own language) — they are really interested in your ambitions and experiences, so avoid responses generated by AI or copied from other sources.
