Call for Book Cover designs for The Writivism Anthology 2013

The Center for African Cultural Excellence (CACE) is pleased to invite young artists aged 15-25 years to submit book cover designs for The Writivism Anthology 2013. CACE is organizing the Writivism Competition in collaboration with the Uganda Women Writers’ Association (FEMRITE), The Observer, the Daily Monitor, Kushinda, Writing Our World and individual partners. The themes of the anthology center around Diversity, Equality and Identity, and may be interpreted liberally.

Entry Guidelines

  • Artists must submit cover designs by Monday 6 May 2013.
  • Each artist may submit up to two cover proposals.
  • The winning artist agrees to participate in Writivism activities and shall have his artwork incorporated into the book cover of The Writivism Anthology 2013.

Prize

The winning entry shall be awarded a cash prize of $75USD and a copy of the anthology.
