Sobeys & Empire Scholarship Program 2022 for Students in Canada (up to $60,000)

Applications for the Sobeys & Empire Scholarship Program 2022 are now open. The Sobeys & Empire scholarship program was created to nurture the careers of deserving student. They are committed to developing talent within the company.

Northeastern University Global Study Expo 2026

At Sobeys, they welcome students year-round in their stores with flexible schedules and a supportive environment. Build your resume with training programs and take advantage of opportunities that just may inspire you to make a part-time job into a long-term career.

Award

  • Every year, they award an average of 40 scholarships worth $1,500 each to qualified students across Canada.

Eligibility

  • Scholarships are available to full-time students completing their high school education or attending a Canadian college or university.
  • Applicants must have worked for Sobeys or affiliates for a minimum of six months or 500 hours as of April 30 each year.
  • An academic average of 70% or higher in the most recent semester is required. 

Application

To apply for a scholarship, use the online Program Application Form and tell them about yourself. They will also need some paperwork confirming school enrollment and your most recent transcript.

Submissions are accepted from March 22 to May 30, followed by interviews, with awards given in the summer.
