Applications are open for the French-African Foundation Young Leaders Program 2025. The French-African Foundation is committed to shaping a new generation of African and French leaders, dedicated to fostering bold, innovative, and lasting ties between Africa and France.
Under the High Patronage of H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, and H.E. Andry Rajoelina, President of the Republic of Madagascar, this prestigious program brings together 30 committed young talents from France and Africa for purpose-driven leadership. Ready to be part of a generation shaping the future?
This year’s cohort will embark on an immersive journey, connecting with some of the most influential figures across the public and private sectors in Africa and France. Through high-level exchanges, dynamic workshops, and transformative discussions, participants will gain the insights and networks to drive real impact.

Eligibility
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 28 and 40 years old.
- Be bilingual in English. Fluency in French is an asset
- Have at least 5 years of work experience with demonstrable leadership skills and impact.
- Have a vision to have a clear desire to build bridges between African countries and France.
- Be a national of a country on the African or French continent.
