Deadline: February 29, 2016

The ITU Telecomm World is now calling for speaker nominations for the 2016 ITU Telecom World in Bangkok this November. They are looking for nominations for the most respected, radical and insightful speakers with expertise in policy, business or technology to provide insights into the major issues shaping the ICT ecosystem today.

Speaking at the ITU Telecomm World enables you to share your views on the critical issues of the ICT industry, form essential connections, impact policy making, structure visions and business decisions, and help address critical societal challenges. Share your views and help shape the programme. Speak out on connectivity and innovation in the global ICT ecosystem.

About the Conference

Connectivity has never before offered so much potential for socio-economic growth – or presented so many pressing challenges. Universal access, implementing the IoT, fit-for-purpose regulation, the new open source ecosystem, scaling ICT startups and smaller businesses for maximum impact. The Forum at ITU Telecom World 2016 will explore these topics and more in a programme designed directly in cooperation with you, stakeholders in the global ICT community. This is your opportunity to get involved in this unique set of debates, with all the high level presence of a UN event within the informed and informal atmosphere of a major industry conference.

Cost

Selected speakers are expected to pay their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Eligibility

They are looking for nominations for the most respected, radical and insightful speakers with expertise in policy, business or technology to provide insights into the major issues shaping the ICT ecosystem today.

How to Apply

You can nominate a speaker, or nominate yourself to speak, by providing full contact details and a brief bio (~200 words) of the proposed speaker, outlining areas of expertise and potential topics for debate within the Forum Programme at ITU Telecom World 2016.

Suggestion of topics that you would like to see addressed during the Forum are also welcome. For any queries, contact us directly at [email protected].
