Applications are open for the IAFFE Feminist Economics School 2026. The IAFFE Feminist Economics School is designed to bring together approximately 30 early career scholars, practitioners, activists, and policymakers engaged in research and action related to issues of concern to feminist economics, but who have had little or no formal access to training in feminist economics.
The School offers participants a unique opportunity to augment their expertise through formal training in feminist economics, to bridge the gap between theory and real-world impact, and to meet leading Feminist Economists. The IAFFE 2026 school will be held at the Universidad Icesi in Cali, Colombia, from July 6th to July 8th, 2026.
Cost
- There is no participation fee in the IAFFE school and travel grants are available to support participants who require financial assistance.
Eligibility
- Applicants should have either completed an undergraduate program of study or equivalent in order to apply or have 5 years work experience in areas addressing feminist economics issues.
- They particularly encourage applicants from Indigenous communities, marginalized and minority groups, and individuals whose work centers on advancing equality and justice in economic thought and practice.
- Note that basic English language skills is required to participate.
