Applications for the Nala Center Associate Fellows Programme 2026 are now open. Nala Center is a research and policy institution dedicated to driving meaningful and lasting change through transformative research, strategic insights, and inclusive dialogue for a sustainable future. Their work spans five focus areas: Peace & Security; Democracy, Governance & Civic Innovation; Economic Systems, Equity & Inclusive Development; Sustainable Energy & Climate Resilience; and Migration, Mobility & Human Rights.
The Associate Fellows Programme welcomes motivated and committed individuals who wish to contribute to rigorous research, policy engagement, and public dialogue. The Programme is a voluntary, non-remunerated engagement. Associate Fellows contribute their time, expertise, and insights to Nala Center’s research and policy work on a pro bono basis, and there is no salary, stipend, or other financial compensation attached to the role.

Eligibility
- Hold a university-level qualification (or equivalent professional experience) in a relevant field.
- Demonstrate proven interest or experience in one or more of Nala Center’s focus areas.
- Demonstrate strong written proficiency in English (the working language of the Centre).
- Show genuine commitment to advancing research and policy, and willingness to dedicate the necessary time and effort.
- Uphold strong ethical values, including integrity, humility, openness, and respect for diverse perspectives.
