Are you an innovator who is using business as a force for positive change in the world? SOCAP(Social Capital Markets) is offering scholarships to entrepreneurs who are creating innovative solutions with sustainable business models.
Entrepreneurs are the heart of SOCAP. Dating from its first event in 2008, SOCAP has awarded full scholarships to hundreds of entrepreneurs who are working on the front lines of impact. In 2015, over 150 of the world’s most innovative social entrepreneurs, who came to the Fort Mason Center were from over 35 countries across the globe.
About SOCAP
SOCAP is a world-renowned conference series dedicated to increasing the flow of capital toward social good.
SOCAP16 will gather impact investors, social entrepreneurs, foundations, corporations, global nonprofits, and other valuable strangers all contributing to a vibrant marketplace for socially, environmentally and economically sustainable solutions. SOCAP16 is scheduled for September 13-16, 2016 at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, CA.
Eligibility
This is open to social entrepreneurs worldwide.
Scholarship Awards
2016 scholarship recipients will be supported with the following:
- Free SOCAP16 full conference pass (valued at $1495)
- Impact Accelerator @SOCAP – tailored entrepreneur programming pre-conference
- Hostel accommodations for the duration of the conference
- Recognition and high visibility in the SOCAP program
- Dedicated mentorship from notable impact leaders
