We are very pleased to share with you, a note from Ngosa Kulula from Zambia. She has been selected as one of 60 changemakers to attend the fully-funded Global Changemakers (GCM) Global Youth Summit taking place at Zurich, Swtizerland in July 2017.

Ngosa Kulula is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of ECHO Zambia. ECHO is a non-profit initiative that focuses on leadership capacity building for females in Zambia through self awareness, Environmental awareness and Advocacy training.

Read her message below.

Ngosa KululaMy name is Ngosa Kulula, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of ECHO Zambia. ECHO is a non-profit initiative that focuses on leadership capacity building for females in Zambia through self awareness, Environmental awareness and Advocacy training.

I recently came across the opportunity to apply for the Global Change makers- Global Youth Summit 2017 on Opportunity Desk. It caught my attention because it was an opportunity to meet so many youths from around the world that have set out to be a force for positive change and so I applied for it.

I later came to learn that Grace Ihejiamaizu, Founder of Opportunity Desk was going to be one of the facilitators there and I was even more glad that I applied as I have over the years been ardently following her works and many social ventures. I later got a response from Global Change makers and I had been selected to participate in this year’s Global Youth Summit!

I will be traveling to Zurich, Switzerland for the summit this July. I am so excited to represent my organization and country at large! THANK YOU so much Grace and the entire OD Team. You are connecting so many people to life changing opportunities.

These opportunities go beyond one person or organization, they trickle down to communities and countries at large, bringing great change and development.

THANK YOU!

Thank you for sharing and all the best, Ngosa!
