Are you interested in International Tourism and Event Management? You are invited to apply for the 2014 summer school in Valmiera which is a regional centre in the northern part of Latvia. The two-week (August 3 – August 17 2014) course of lectures; starting from workshops and hands-on activities will be based on the topic of International Tourism Events Management.
Programme fee: EUR 720
Fee includes:
- academic and social programme
- study trips and excursions
- course materials,
- accommodation in a single room in a student hostel
- breakfast and lunch
- welcome and farewell dinners
Scholarship Information
Scholarships are available for the course “International Tourism and Event Managment“, provided by the Latvian Government and Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences.
The scholarship includes:
- Academic and social programme;
- Study trips and excursions;
- Course materials;
- Accommodation in a single room in a student hostel;
- Lunch and dinner;
- Welcome and farewell dinners.
The scholarship does not include:
- Travel from and to home country to Latvia, Valmiera;
- Dinners.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only citizens of the countries below can apply for this scholarship.
- Only students, researchers and teaching staff who are engaged in any HEI of above mentioned countries, can apply for this scholarship.
- All the lectures and seminars are given only in English and the students should have a good command in English in order to be able to follow the lectures, participate in the discussions and complete written assignments.
- Applicants must be at least 18 and should have completed at least a secondary school education.
