Applications are invited for scholarship to the 10th Hamburg International Summer Academy for Film Music, Game Music and Sound Design 2020. The MediaSoundHamburg is an international summer academy for film music, game music and sound design, which has been held annually in Hamburg since 2011.
For ten days, national and international film composers, game musicians and sound designers will meet international professionals and renowned experts. In various workshops, master classes and forums, the participants work on specific projects and receive new ideas for their artistic work. With other attractive special events such as the presentation of the Young Talent Awards Media Music with the support of the renowned Kaiser Quartet and workshop discussions with directors and film composers, MediaSoundHamburg also opens up its offers to an interested audience.
The 10th edition of the International Summer Academy for Film Music, Game Music and Sound Design will take place from August 11 to 16, 2020. The new event location in the anniversary year is the ibis Hotel Hamburg St. Pauli Messe.
Scholarship
- A scholarship includes free participation in all MasterClasses, MSH conferences and special events, as well as accommodation and meals worth EUR 3,000.
Eligibility
- Young film composers, game musicians, sound designers and anyone from all over the world up to the age of 35 can apply for a scholarship.
