Biodiversity international is inviting applicantions from young forest genetic resources scientist for Abdou-Salam Ouédraogo Fellowship. Bioversity International established the Abdou-Salam Ouédraogo Fellowship for research on conservation and use of forest genetic resources in sub-Saharan.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be a citizen of a Sub-Saharan African country including: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (Democratic Republic), Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Réunion, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Western Sahara, Zambia and Zimbabwe
- Applicant must be under 40 years of age;
- Applicants must have at least a Masters degree or equivalent in a field of study relevant to forest genetic genetics;
- Applicants must be a scientist or PhD student attached to a national University, research institution or research NGO.
