Are you 18-28? You are invited to apply to attend the International Development Youth Forum (IDYF). The theme is ‘Design Our Future.’
IDYF is founded in August 2012 to become a platform where young people from both developed and developing countries discuss development issues together. The forum will be taken place in Tokyo, Japan from March 11 – 17, 2013. Over 50
Aim
1) exchange various ideas
2) take back experiences and knowledge from this forum to each home country
3) create a platform to discuss development issues in the future.
In this forum, participants shall deepen their thoughts on Development Scenario for the future through four steps.
Participation
About fifty (50) youths from South-East Asia , and five each from South Asia, East Asia, Africa, and Europe and America will be participating.
There is an participation fee of 30,000 YEN (about 360 US dollars). The fee includes accommodation, food expenses, welcome party, farewell party and sightseeing cost.
However, if you can confirm your participation by December 31st, you will be added to the list for a possibility for financial support.
