WISE is now accepting projects for the 2014 WISE Awards. Each year, they identify, showcase and promote innovative educational projects that are having a transformative impact on societies and education. The 2014 WISE Awards will celebrate six innovative educational projects for their positive contribution to education and society. WISE seeks to share best practices worldwide and inspire others to spark change in education.
Project representatives from any region, sector or education level are encouraged to submit their application to demonstrate the quality and impact of their activities. Whether you are involved in a project that creates new opportunities for lifelong learning, increases access to quality education or designs innovative educational tools and technologies, WISE invites you to apply for the 2014 WISE Awards.
Prizes and Benefits
- Six winners receive global visibility along with a prize of $20,000 (US) and are celebrated at the annual WISE Summit Gala Dinner.
- At the annual WISE Summit in Doha, Qatar, representatives from Award winning projects are also given the opportunity to present and discuss their work at a dedicated Summit session.
Eligibility
- Eligible applicants are individuals who represent a project and the team associated with it, working in any sector of education, any type of organization and from any part of the world, whose achievements can be considered as outstanding.
- Previous recipients of the WISE Awards are not eligible to apply for the 2014 WISE Awards. Likewise, other people involved in the projects and/or activities that have received Awards in previous editions of the WISE Awards are not eligible to apply for the same project or activity.
- Anyone else who has submitted an application to previous editions of the WISE Awards can submit a new application for the same – or for a different – project, providing that it conforms with the criteria of the 2014 WISE Awards. Please note that selection criteria and the application forms have changed over time.
- All applicants must guarantee that their organization, or they themselves, originated the project, and should not hold QATAR FOUNDATION liable for any action or claim from a third party with respect to the project submitted.
