The 2015 Graca Machel Scholarship for African Women in South Africa is now open for application. The scholarship is awarded annually to female students from Angola, Botswana, DRC, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
This scholarship is generously funded by the Sol Plaatje Trust, MacSteel International and others.

Eligibility:
To apply, applicants must be;
- Female
- A national of and normally resident in one of the SADC countries
- In possession of a goodfirst degree(minimium of a second class, upper division or equivalent) or about to graduate in the year of application
- Studying or applying to study at a South African University
Application:
- Applicants must apply to their chosen universities seperately and awards are conditional on the applicants being offered a place at the relevant university
