The City of Cape Town, in partnership with VSO Nigeria and Skillshare International invite young people who are between the ages of 17-18 to apply for The Youth Leadership Through Sport Exchange Program (YLSEP).
The exchange program will bring together 16 young people (8 boys and 8 girls) with focus on youth leadership using sport. The project will be residential for both the Nigerian and South African youth participating in the program.
Benefits
- Accommodation,meals and program activity will be provided for participants for the duration of the program-7 days.
- Internal travel cost will be covered.
- Certificate
- Nigerian Participants will spearhead VSO Nigeria Active Citizenship Clubs
Participants Commitment
- Travel cost will be the responsibility of the participants
Eligibility
- Participants must be resident and citizen of Nigeria
- Must be Aged 17-18
- Must be actively involved in any sport.
- Positive and realistic commitment to the program
- A genuine commitment to learning – youth leadership and active citizenship
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Self confidence
- Ability to work with others in a team
