The Eagles Hope Foundation invites applications from youth for the 2015 C.I.T.Y. Summer Leadership Camp/School. The Capture and Inspire Them Young (CITY) Summer Camp is a leadership development programme focused on helping teenagers between the ages 13 – 18 to imbibe the culture of leadership. The main objective of the camp is to develop the leadership potential in teenagers by training and mentoring them on principles and values that would make them excel in life.
C.I.T.Y. is in it’s fourth year of existence and has excelled in providing leadership training and mentor-ship to its participants. They believe that Leaders can be trained and leadership is a necessary tool for national development and positive societal change.
Summer School Details
Theme: The theme of this year’s school is “Leaders Arise”
Type: Non residential
Time: 7.30am – 5pm everyday
Locations and Dates:
- Lagos, Abuja, Ota in Nigeria | August 5th – 15th 2015
- Ibadan | 12th-22nd August
Eligibility for Volunteers
They are looking for passionate adults who are out to make a difference in the world. Successful people from all walks of life who are willing to join their cause and change the world one teenager at a time.
The C.I.T.Y. program is rigorous and would require a lot of time commitment within the short time it would hold, applicants are advised to consider this before applying.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years old as at 1st July 2015.
- Must be enthusiastic and passionate about change.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior Leadership and Volunteer and Professional Experience is a plus.
Volunteers should please make themselves available for training from the 1st -3rd of August 2015.
