The OSTEN Biennial of Drawing in Skopje, Macedonia, has released an open call for entries for their awards competition.
The gallery draws its inspiration from the 40 years tradition of the World Gallery of Cartoons and represents a natural expansion of the scope of arts brand OSTEN by dedicating itself to fostering drawing and graphic arts.
The official awards announcement will take place on September 22, 2016 in Skopje.
Eligibility
The competition is open to everyone and participation is free.
Prizes
The awards comprise of-
- Grand Prix for life achievement- USD 5,000.
- World cultural heritage award- USD 5,000.
- 6 first awards each worth USD 1,000.
- IMAF Awards.
- 6 golden OSTEN awards.
- Jury’s special awards and recognitions.
- OSTEN’s special awards and recognitions.
Short-listed works shall be exhibited at OSTEN Gallery from 22 September to 21 October 2016. Short-listed works shall be published in the catalog, and their authors shall receive a free copy via post mail.
The organizer shall cover accommodation expenses of the awarded artists who will announce their presence at the opening of the exhibition and announcement of the awards in Skopje up to 31 July 2016.
