The European Commission invites applications for the EU-US Young Leaders Seminar. In the framework of the EU’s cooperation with the United States, the European Commission in partnership with the European Youth Forum are organising the Seminar on the topic: the future of work. This is an opportunity to share your thoughts on technology and the future of work with young Europeans and Americana. The seminar will convene 25 US Fulbright students from across Europe and 25 European participants to discuss the topic for two days in Brussels on April 15-17.
The European Commission is currently looking for European candidates to take part in the Seminar. They are looking for participants that have specialised on issues related to the Future of Work. Workshops will intentionally be broad, focusing on Technology and the Future of Work, the skills of the future workforce and social implications of the changing work environment.
Benefits
All travel and accommodation costs and arrangements will be provided by the European Commission to participants.
Eligibility
- Must be a national of an Erasmus+ Programme Country (EU Member State; the FYR of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Turkey).
- Must be able to demonstrate relevant experience or expertise in areas related to the future of work and digital skills.
- You must be available from 15 to 17 April to attend.
Application
The European Youth Forum will be collecting a list of ten candidates to submit to the European Commission for consideration. They will select applications and put forward your candidacy to the European Commission for review.
As such, please note that if your application is selected by the Forum, this does not mean you have been awarded a place in the seminar. Firm confirmation of your selection will come later from the European Commission itself.
