Applications are open for the Peace First MENA – Social Innovation Challenge 2019. Peace First are currently running a social innovation challenge that invites young people from the MENA region to create innovative solutions to community issues!

Peace First is a non-profit organization based in Boston – Massachusetts, U.S. They are dedicated to supporting young people to make a positive difference in their communities through an approach grounded in compassion, courage, and collaborative leadership.


  • Digital mentoring support from an expert during the implementation of the project;
  • Unique tools and resources;
  • A US$250 mini-grant;
  • Storytelling support to share your project’s story with the world;
  • Access to a global community of young peacemaker;
  • The opportunity to apply for an accelerator, where you can collaborate with other young people and receive additional support and funding to build up your ideas.


  • The application is open to young people from Algeria; Egypt; Morocco; Tunisia; Saudi Arabia; UAE; Lebanon; Jordan
  • Applicants must be between the age of 13 to 25;
  • Applicants should have an issue/problem that they care about in their communities
