The Accountability Incubator is Accountability Lab’s flagship program for young change makers to build sustainable, effective tools for accountability, participation and open government. The Accountability Incubator provides a non-prescriptive, yet supportive environment for creative, enterprising individuals who bring innovative ideas to inspire accountability in their communities.

The Accountability Lab supports change-makers to develop and implement positive ideas for integrity in their communities, unleashing positive social and economic change. Their vision is a world in which people with power are accountable. It is a world in which resources are used wisely, decisions benefit everyone fairly, and people lead secure lives. They are catalyzing a new generation of active citizens and responsible leaders around the world by supporting change-makers to develop and implement positive ideas for integrity in their communities. By enabling people to generate the knowledge, skills and networks needed for accountability, they unleash positive social and economic change.
Benefits
- Selected “accountapreneurs” receive one year of hands-on, comprehensive support including: training and knowledge-building, mentoring and management, network building, and media outreach support.

- Open to young change makers building sustainable, effective tools for accountability participation and open government;
- Women, people with disabilities and other minority groups are encouraged to apply in particular.
