The Oxford Human Rights Festival (OxHRF) Essay Competition 2020 is open for entries. To celebrate the Oxford Human Rights Festival, they are running an essay competition for all people ages of 11+ across the world. The theme for this essay competition is resilience, in line with the general theme of the festival, particularly focusing on resilience in circumstances of human rights abuse. By taking part in the OxHRF Essay competition you have a chance to share your thoughts and opinions with key players in the human rights field.
- Junior Contest (11 -17 years What does resilience mean to you in your local community?* (500 words)
- Senior Contest (18 years +) Explore Human Rights and resilience as you understand the two. How do you think your view will differ from how someone from a country currently facing mass human rights violations? (1,000 words)
