The One Young World Summit is an annual event that brings together young leaders from all over the world to engage in discussions, network, and create positive change. This year’s summit is set to take place in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from October 2nd to October 5th, and promises to be an exciting and enlightening event for all attendees. One Young World strives to identify the most impactful young leaders from every country in the world.
Attending the summit can be a life-changing experience for any young person with a passion for positive change, but the cost of travel, accommodation, and registration can be prohibitive for many. Thankfully, There are various scholarships available for young leaders and below is the list of those currently open.
1. Young Health Program Impact Fellowship
The Young Health Program Impact Fellowship provides development opportunities, access to networks, and funding to help the most impactful young health leaders to help them create even more positive change. These inspiring young leaders will attend the One Young World Summit 2023 in Belfast, UK and receive a US $10,000 grant to contribute to a specific project within their eligible non-profit organization.

2. Leading Northern Ireland Scholarship
The Leading Northern Ireland Scholarship offers funding for young people from across Northern Ireland who are not affiliated with OYW partner organizations to participate in the One Young World Summit 2023 and join the One Young World Community. The scholars will receive delegate access to the One Young World Summit 2023 taking place in Belfast and the application is available for individuals aged 18 – 30 by the date of the One Young World Summit 2023.

3. The Novartis Reimagining Healthcare Scholarship: 2023
Through this scholarship, Novartis wants to extend their culture of Inspired, Curios and ‘Unbossed’ to provide an opportunity for young leaders who have a passion for healthcare and want to join them in improving and extending people’s lives and making this world a better place. This scholarship will support 10 young social entrepreneurs and their initiatives and assist in accelerating their leadership journey.

4. DSM Brighter Living Foundation/ One Young World Scholarship
Four influential young leaders will be provided by the DSM Brighter Living Foundation to attend the One Young World Summit 2023, which will be held in Belfast, United Kingdom, from October 2 to October 5. The scholarship will support young entrepreneurs making a global and local impact on agri-food systems in one of three focus areas; Health for the Planet, Health for people and Healthy livelihood.

5. Leading Africa Scholarship
The Leading Africa Scholarship is designed such that exceptional young Africans would be represented at the One Young World Summit in Belfast in 2023. The Leading Africa Sponsorship covers access to the One Young World Summit 2023. To be eligible, you must be aged 18-30 and have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change.

6. Leading the Pacific Scholarship 2023
The Leading The Pacific Scholarship is open to young leaders from Latin America who are working to create positive change in their communities. One Young World recognizes that amidst the challenges the Pacific faces, it is the young leaders who are devising meaningful strategies to build a more sustainable world. 7. Leading Europe Scholarship
The Leading Europe Scholarship to Belfast is a program established by One Young World (OYW) to provide young leaders from Europe with the chance to attend the One Young World Summit. With the Leading Europe Scholarship, OYW aims to ensure that outstanding young individuals from Europe have the opportunity to participate in the Summit and contribute their unique perspectives to the discussions.

8. Leading the Americas Scholarship
As part of its efforts to make the summit more inclusive, One Young World has created the Leading the Americas Scholarship, which provides a platform for young leaders from North, Central, and South America to attend the summit in Belfast. This scholarship aims to ensure that young leaders from the Americas, regardless of their financial backgrounds, have access to the summit and can make their voices heard on the global stage. Through the Leading the Americas Scholarship, One Young World continues to empower and inspire young leaders to create positive change in their communities and the world.

The goal of the Leading Asia Scholarship is to give promising young individuals from Asia the chance to connect with like-minded peers, share their perspectives, and develop their leadership skills. 10. Leading the Middle East Scholarship
One Young World’s Leading the Middle East Scholarship provides an incredible opportunity for young leaders from the Middle East to attend the One Young World Summit 2023 in Belfast. This scholarship is designed to support exceptional young individuals who are making a positive impact in their communities, and who have a passion for creating a better future for the Middle East. Through this scholarship, selected participants will have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals from all over the world, gain valuable skills and knowledge, and receive mentorship and guidance from experienced leaders.
