Climb after business dreams that fit your family. Since 2018, The Mama Ladder has helped mom business owners climb higher with the #HighFiveGrant.

They are on a mission to help women around the world thrive at the intersection of mamahood and entrepreneurship. They are building a community of mamas helping mamas succeed. Why? With business training designed especially for moms, they want you to have freedom to enjoy family AND your work passion on your terms.

Prizes

Grand Winner

  • $10,000 USD grant (Includes a giant vanity check!)
  • $1,000 credit for your office furniture at Walker Edison
  • One-hour strategy meeting with Product Marketing House ($6,000 value)

First Runner-up

  • $5,000 USD grant
  • $1,000 credit for your office furniture at Walker Edison
  • One-hour strategy meeting with Product Marketing House ($6,000 value)

Second Runner-up

  • $2,500 USD grant
  • $1,000 credit for your office furniture at Walker Edison

Eligibility

The Mama Ladder helps ambitious mom entrepreneurs grow their business. This is an international grant program. Mothers who own businesses, from any country, are welcome to apply!

For fall 2023, there are four simple requirements:

  • You ARE A MOM! This grant is exclusively for women caregivers with human child(ren) of all ages. If your children are adults, they say: “Once a mom, always a mom.” This grant also welcomes first-time expecting moms, stepmoms, and foster moms.
  • You own at least 50% of a for-profit product or service-based business and are serious about growth.
  • You can verify earning business revenue in the past 12 months.
  • You know the WHY behind your business and will share it with the world.

Application

  • Complete the application form
  • Share your high five “WHY” behind your business. Make sure to:
    • Write your “WHY” on your hand and get a picture. The goal is to help you be confident and clear.
    • Post your picture on a public business Instagram account, Facebook page, or LinkedIn page. It must be a lasting post (not Story) shared during the application window.
    • Tag @themamaladder (grant host) and @loweshomeimprovement (lead sponsor) so they see can cheer you on!
    • Include the #highfivegrant hashtag to share with their community of mom business owners.
